Exhibiting at the Le Sueur County Fair!

Have you ever thought about entering something in the Le Sueur County Fair but just didn’t know how to do it?  Anyone from 5 to 105 years old can enter the competition.

Follow these easy and fun steps on how to enter, and you may find yourself on your way to receiving a Blue Ribbon!
 

  1. Find your entry department. Entry department forms can be found on this page. You can enter anything from antiques, vegetables, home sewing, crafts, flowers, and fine arts, just to name a few. Once you find your department download, print, and fill out your form.

  2. Pre-Register. Download the pre-registration entry form found on this page. Once all your forms are filled out mail them to the fair office:

  3. Or register at the fair. You can also just bring your forms along with your item to be entered to the Le Sueur County Fair Office at the date/time to be entered (which is stated on your department entry form).
    *All entry fees will need to be paid at the Le Sueur County Fair Office before taking your entry to the designated building to be judged.

  4. Arrive at the fairgrounds. check in at the Fair Office. Volunteers will be on hand to help you, and show you a map of where to take your entry to be judged. 
    Once to your judging building another volunteer will help you place your item in the correct place for competition Your item will remain at the fair for observation for the entire week. Judging will take place, and you may end up with a ribbon! Some placings are awarded a premium that can be picked up when you collect your things at the end of the weekend.

  5. Pick-up you entry. You will need to pick up your entries at the specified release time, and also collect any money that you might have won.

    *Make note of the entry and release times, because you can only enter and take home your project at the specified times.  Also, be aware that the times may be different for Home Arts, Fruit & Vegetable, Flowers, and Farm Antiques. No early releases of exhibits until Sunday after the fair is over.
